Michigan’s 16 area agencies on aging (AAA) are regional, non-profit agencies created by federal and state legislation to respond to the needs of older adults in every local community. These entities are funded by AASA and each is a designated planning and service area (PSA), which operates a service delivery system that offers a range of community-based supports and services.

The information on this site may be filtered by area agency on aging region. We present the data this way because state and federally funded programs for adults age 60 and over are organized by AAA region and because older adults are among the most vulnerable when it comes to COVID-19.
